Salisbury University (SU) is a Maryland university of national distinction, which is located in Wicomico County , Maryland .Invited by SU, ATC delegation visited SU campus last year and the two presidents, on behalf of two institutions, signed Cooperation Memorandum formally. SU's visit on ATC this June made a big progress in the cooperation, which specifically resulted in the agreement of student exchange and staff exchange. ATC and SU decided to start the cooperation with the student exchange.

Two undergraduates will be the first round to study in the other university for one semester. At the end of August, two ATC seniors, Zhou Qian and Gao Xuan, arrived at SU. Wang Yang, a graduate of ATC, went with them together to pursue her Master Degree in SU. Three girls were warmly welcomed by her classmates and teachers. Invited by their professors and roommates, they joined several family parties. After the orientation week, the three girls have been familiar with their life in SU and focus on their study now.

Two SU exchange students, Daniel McElwain and Blake Lovelace, arrived at ATC on August 28 to learn Chinese language and Chinese culture for one semester. After several rounds' discussion, ATC decided to concentrate it's superior resources to provide excellent courses. Compulsory courses include Chinese Language, Chinese Culture and Chinese History, all taught by Professors and Doctors. Selective courses are Martial Arts, Calligraphy, Chinese Traditional Festivals and Local Opera. These courses would enable Daniel and Blake to learn China well.
