Delegation from Hildesheim University Visited ATC

March 5 th , a delegation from Hildesheim University arrived at Anqing for two days' visit in our college, which includes Prof. Marlene Clement, dean of Music Department; Prof. Stefan Schlickau, Ms. Julia Aichinger and Ms. Pan Xingye.
Prof. Wang Haiyan, vice president of ATC, representing our college, welcomed the delegation with enthusiasm, and held a meeting with them. The meeting was hosted by Ms. Chen Xiu, vice director of Foreign Affairs Office of ATC. Mr. Jin Genshan, dean of School of Huangmei Opera Arts ; Prof. Zhang Jie, dean of School of Foreign Languages ; Prof. Xun Anhua, dean of School of Music and Ms. Tu Wangbei, assistant of Foreign Affairs Office attended the meeting.
Prof. Wang indicated that the beautiful campus of Hildesheim University , especially World Music Center , impressed our delegation deeply in their visit last year. After the delegation getting back to China , ATC has donated Chinese traditional music instruments to World Music Center of Hildesheim University to enrich its collection. The members of ATC delegation have held several lectures to teachers and students, introducing high education of Germany . Those lectures are warmly welcomed by teachers and students. Prof. Wang also introduced the recent development of ATC, and proposed the next round of two sides' cooperation.
Prof. Marlene Clement handed theThank You Letterfrom Dr. Christoph Struz, vice president of Hildesheim University , to Prof. Wang Haiyan, which gave sincere thanks for ATC donating those music instruments. She said that the two exchange students from ATC impressed teachers of Hildesheim University deeply with their hard-working. Teachers also gave them many opportunities to perform, introducing Chinese music and Chinese culture to German people. She also pointed it out that the purpose of this visit is to discuss the details of this October's exchange activities.
In the meeting, the delegation made initial agreement with deans of ATC for the cooperation of music and German language.
