Anna Pierce, an American teacher of ATC, volunteered to help English lovers of Anqing Senior Citizens' University to practice their oral English from November, 2006. She arranged different kinds of movements, like English Corner or that sort of thing, to encourage them to open their mouths to speak English. The English level of thirty English lovers has been greatly improved with these practice and communication. Anna said she was moved by these old people's courage of learning foreign language after retirement and decided to help them for free, and she would continue to do this next year.
