It was the first time for ATC to know Bethel Univeristy(BU), and our delegation was the first one from China to visit BU. BU paid great attention to our visit, and took an active attitude in seeking cooperative possibilities with ATC. President James H. Barnes, leading deans, directors and doctors of relevant schools and offices, welcomed the delegation, and held a meeting. In the meeting, President Zhao gave a speech first. He introduced ATC's history, development and expressed the cooperative intention with BU. President Barnes also introduced the feature and mission of BU. Then, attendants had an active discussion and made agreement on student exchange and co-training Doctors of Education finally.

University of Minnesota is famous in the world. We have cooperated in academic research for several times. Prof. Arthur Harkins and Dr. John Movarec had attended the First and Second International Conference on Teachers Education, and had held three synchronous seminar with School of Education of ATC. During the visit, the delegation held a meeting with College of Education ＆ Human Development, and made agreement on further academic research cooperation.

During their stay in U.S, the delegation had a discussion with board of International Council for Education Development(ICED). ATC had built friendship with ICED through many years' cooperation. With the help of ICED, our college held the First and Second International Conference on Teachers Education successfully in 2007 and 2008, and built sistership with several universities in U.S. Meanwhile, we had cooperation in academic fields with ICED for several rounds. President Zhao, on behalf of ATC, expressed sincerest appreciation to Dr. Sam Song and ICED, for what they have done to promote ATC's international exchange. He also suggested the two sides pursue further academic cooperation.

What's more, the delegation met Dr. Tom P. Abeles, the editor of On the Horizon, to probe cooperation possibility of academic exchange and thesis publishing.

After they were back to college, the delegation members had concluded the achievement of the visit, and made specific plan to practice cooperation program with each university.
