In the morning of July 22, a total solar eclipse, which is the perfect astronomical wonder in the near 500 years in China , occurred in the sky of Anqing. The total solar eclipse lasts about 5 minutes, which is the longest in the 21 st century. Anqing city is one of the best observing sites. A team of Indian astronomy enthusiasts from the astronomy organization, SPACE, came to Anqing to observe the rare astronomy wonder. With coordination of Foreign Affairs Offices of Anqing city and ATC, Indian astronomy enthusiasts enjoyed the total solar eclipse with students on the playground of new campus.
