Representative of Salisbury University Visited ATC

IMay 25 th , 2009, Dr. Douglas DeWitt, as the representative of Salisbury University , visited our college for further cooperation. Dr. Sam Song, president of ICED, accompanied Dr. Douglas DeWitt for the visit. Dr. Douglas DeWitt has signed the initial cooperation agreement with International Exchange Center of ATC when he attended “The Second Teachers' Education International Conference” last October in our college. He was appointed by the leadership of Salisbury University to probe further cooperation with our college this May. Prof. Wang Haiyan, vice president of ATC warmly welcomed Dr. DeWitt and held a meeting to discuss cooperation issues in detail. The two sides have made agreement in the fields of academic exchange, teacher exchange and student exchange.
After the meeting, Mr. Zhao Xiaohe, Party Secretary of ATC, met Dr. DeWitt and Dr. Sam Song, and expressed the hope of pushing further cooperation with Salisbury University .
It is ICED that made the relationship of ATC and Salisbury University develop so fast. ATC has kept close contact and good relationship with ICED. Dr. Rich Cornish, vice president of ICED, was invited to teach American History for 3 weeks in ATC this April. Dr. Sam Song, president of ICED, was invited to give lectures for English and Education majors of ATC days ago. In the meeting, Prof. Wang and Dr. Song agreed that these activities attracted great interest of teachers and students of ATC and aroused their great appetite for knowledge, and ICED, moved by active attitude of ATC, would take ATC as a long-term partner and put forward kinds of academic activities. Prof. Wang, representing ATC, invited Dr. Rick Cornish to come back for teaching this November.
